Attended local Schools including Regis Jesuit Catholic High School and went on to Northwestern University in Evanston, IL for his undergrad degree in political science and economics.
Lived abroad in Spain for 2 years founding an English school in Sevilla, which he ran successfully for 2 years.
Work for one year for Microsoft's in the research and development segment showcasing new Tablet PCs and the software that came along with them.
15 years of experience as a restaurant and bar employee with duties ranging from cleaning dishes to managing and purchasing.. to security. Acquired an in-depth understanding of what it takes to run a good on-premise business from both the back of the house in front of the house perspective.
Came back to Colorado to work in the family business which was importing and supplying Wine and Spirits for restaurants, retailers and hotels in Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona.
Worked as an importer of record, a portfolio supplier, a brand manager, and a sales representative responsible for working full territories in Colorado from Aurora to Aspen and Fort Collins to Pueblo.
Started his own Distributing Company of wine and spirits in 2012 called Estate Bramds Distributing Company, with the goal being to handpick only the top wine and spirits most often from family run historical locations committed to top quality and integrity. He takes significant pride being able to be a part of the connection to get these amazing families and products to the Colorado Market.
At the same time, he started a local vodka company( CVC Vodka) with the idea to create a brand that resonated with everything that Colorado has to offer as a lifestyle and idea. He wanted to have fun and has learned quite a deal in the process as far as distilleries are concerned, the production method, the logistics required to get the different parts of the production delivered, and has learned a great deal about the marketplace and competition.
Successfully created a another LLC for corporate retreats called Mountain Cellars Ranch, which is 150 acre ranch just south of the Wyoming border.
Currently sits on multiple boards including the Colorado Wine Industry Development board, the Colorado Task Force on Drunk and Impaired Driving board, sits in on the meetings for Rules and Regulation Working Group Liquor Enforcement... and is in the process of becoming a board member for the Colorado Restaurant Association.
Activities and interests include playing classical piano which he started at age 5 , playing the acoustic guitar, drawing and writing. Currently he is set to publish a set of children's stories in 2024.
Aaron very much enjoys traveling and learning about the history of different countries and places, and also the culinary history of the places he visits.
Enjoys boxing which he has participated in off and on for many years, and also the game of baseball which he played Division 1 Big 10 while at Northwestern and also enjoys coaching, having coached at his alma mater Regis Jesuit High School and also private trainings for catchers to learn proper mechanics and to have fun.... working alongside current baseball scouts and previous MLB players.
A die-hard Colorado sports fan being a local, he is a HUGE Bronco and Nuggets fan as well as the Avalanche and tries to stay as positive as possible for the Rockies (which he has good experience from, as his dad was a Chicago Cubs fan growing up).
Aaron is committed to bringing attention to the support of local, family run businesses in the Colorado community, believing these are the backbones for the success and for the overall true experience of what it is to live in, and enjoy Colorado.
He is dedicating his radio segment to discussing the passions, the hurdles, and the work ethic that is required to be successful in today's market, concentrating on restaurants and bars in particular due to his experience... but also welcoming other businesses from the community to have a forum to discuss what makes them special and why the community should support them.
